Swedish Patties similar to Salisbury Steak
1 lb hamburger(up to 2 pounds depending on how many you are feeding)
3/4 cup breaad crumbs
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 cup milk
1 medium diced onion (about 1/2 cup)
2 tablespoon butter (although I have use oil in a pinch)
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1 egg beaten,
2 10-oz can cream of mushroom soup.
Mix hamburger, crumbs, flour, and milk together. Lightly brown onions in butter (until translucent for me). Addd salt and pepper to mix. Add to meat mixture. Add egg:mix well and form into patties. Brown lightly on both sides, using same pan used for browning onions. Place patties in a 2 quart casserole( I use a 9 X 13 glass pan): Cover with mushroom soup, diluted with 2/3 cup water,Bake uncovered for 35 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
